This pattern is knit mostly in stockinette stitch, but includes some intermediate-level stitches and techniques (M1L, M1R, k2tog, ssk, picking up stitches, placing stitches on hold). Video tutorials for all these techniques are included in the pattern to ensure it is beginner friendly! If this is your first knitting project, it is recommended that you get comfortable with casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, working 1x1 ribbing and casting off before attempting this pattern.
